I'm just stupidly busy... grad school apps, coaching, music projects... it just eats time like you've never seen.
I just recently removed myself from a relationship that didn't allow much time for riding, so maybe you'll see more of me around. never know.
Not to hyjack the thread, but I know dave and ricky were both on nixon platnums, and while i was going to get myself a fox 36, the pricing is a little over the top. So now I'm thinking nixon. You both know how I ride... will this thing work?
Yeah, same here. I absolutely love that thing. I mainly ride it in the woods on my short travel bike. Sooo much fun. Crazy stiff and light. The IT adjust is pretty damn cool too, not that I really climb all that much
I'd recommend it. You know how many psylos I went through (still love them though) and this seems to be the ultimate "psylo-type" fork. Completely adaptable to whatever trail or riding situation. I almost want to bring my short travel bike with it down to Diablo for ****s and giggles some time, I think it would be pretty fun on some of the trails.
I get a kick out of people calling a .125 inch thick piece of aluminum a "bashguard". Seems more like a liability to fold into your chainring with any impact. The new crop of polycarbonate bashrings out there are pretty comical also. It takes a lot more than just buying some lexan from your local plastic supplier and then blindly attacking it with a mill to make a usable product. Time will tell all though!
hey i like it, cant beat an industry related type getting ripped into every single competitor in one go! (especially when for once in this sport it isn't bs)
