OK. This is it.
Night Race on Coral. Every rider must have helmet and lights. Entry is $5 and a six pack of beer. The $ is for post race hoedown food. The winners of the fast guys and gals get the beer. There are four classes total, fast guys fast gals, slow guys, and slow gals. Registration is from 5-6:15 at the bottom parking area. Race time is 6:30 at the upper trail head (Coral). The race goes from pavement to the bridge at the bottom near the power poles. You can petal to the top or provide you and a couple of friends a shuttle to the top. Keep in mind the road is narrow and there is very limited parking at the top of the trail. This race is not put on an organization and there is no liability insurance available for the race coordinator. Be responsible for your actions please. Come out and have a good time. This is all about having fun and meeting new people.

This is in South Lake Tahoe. You should take half the day off and make the drive up. We could ride Toads on Sat.

No. I am going to focus on the timeing and helping people have fun.

my friend neil is going to come help w/ the timing.

All you guys need is two stop watches. Sync them at the beginning and send people down at 1 minute intervals. Pick a 'finish point/line' and the first guy down quickly glances at the second watch that he takes down with him.

Then just record the times as each successive rider finishes and subtract from his start time. Last guy with the first watch just leaves last at his start time. That way everyone races.

My ONLY complaint is that Shaun Palmer was there, but didn’t race. That could have been interesting.

I'm already looking forward to doing it again.
