So my shock is a 2009 DHX RC4 9.5" x 3"

I am trying to set sag correctly and understand it. When I sit on the bike the length is 8 5/8 from center bolt to center bolt.

So this would mean my sag is 1 1'8", correct?

want to make sure I am reading Fox's Chart correct

Shock Travel (in./mm) 3.00/76.2

Recommended Sag (in./mm)1.00/25.40

so this means I have too much sag , correct? I also wasnt wearing my full gear which would be another 10lbs so I am assuming there will be even more sag

I am running a 350 spring, so would it make sense to go to a 400#?

well if anything you'd want a little more sag, as you don't even have a full inch. A heavier spring wouldn't accomplish that. You should be ok where you are at. Try riding it then adjust accordingly.
