Hey, I'm new to this forum so first off, hi everyone. My question. I have a 99 Intense Uzzi SL. I've had it for a few years now. Just moved to Montana and I need a burlier bike. I was looking into a Stinky or something like it. My question is, could I just buy a frame and swap all the components off my bike onto the new one? Here's a list of stuff.

Marzocchi Z1 BAM fork
Fox Alps 5R airshock,
Chris King Sealed headset,
full XTR components (derailer, cranks, brakes, shifters, etc), Easton flatpedals and EA50 Monkeybars,
2 months old Bontrager Convair rim

I'm trying to sell this one or trade it if anyone's interested. Anyways, any thought?

Check the front der. clamp, seatpost diameter and the steerer length. I don't think the Stinky has v-brake bosses either so you may need to get a rear disc hub.

Also, your bottom bracket might not fit.

And DEFINITLY upgrade to discs. There's a disc set for any budget now, and they're worth it.

I would consider getting a new r shock and if your looking for more tire clearance, a Tazer rea end will bolt right on. I would call Intense about options. Discs are a must.

well, that frame is in the mail, on its way to Sooke, BC. Once it gets there, they'll be a 2001 Kona Stab frame coming back my way. Now I just need to find a new fork...ideas?

how quick do you need a forK?
if you can wait, do so and get the 888r,
I have now ridden it.
it is near the best fork I have ever ridden
and from the talk I hear out here in Whistler, it will be around 1300 can.
I am not sure if that is true as I also heard 1600 can.
but in either case there is nothing out there as light, strong, or plush for the price...
my opinion ...well mine and a whole lot of the people who Marz hooked up with this early..
also should be in retail in Oct.
