Hey all.

I've been offered a good deal on a 2001 Cove Stiffee and I'm looking for a little word of mouth on the frame.

I'm looking to build an xc/trailbike hardtail and being a big guy, want a strong frame that's worth the extra weight. I have little interest in jumps, drops and dh runs unless their just part of the trail. I want a dependable bike that will go up as well as down.

Opinions of the wisdom behind this possible choice?

I love mine, I'm 6'4" 210. I built mine up to be kind'a burly but I still ride it XC.

Sounds perfect for you. I'd do it. The frame is just a big XC bike, geometry-wise.

I know someone who has one, he loves it, and hes seriously fast and smooth.
