26% of the total deaths, with only 4.25% of the world's population. I'd say we are pulling our weight at the moment.

May be my one cup of Coffee a week talking but am confident Trump is about to lose status w/ the Council of Tall Buildings. There's no escaping the megalomaniac behavior, it's exactly what drives every. single. act. and. utterance. from his wooden-head. The 'Ingest Disinfectant' inclusion during yet another slam-dunk press conference was part of a directive aimed at UV Light and Sunlight being an overlooked, amazing fix. He 'gets this stuff' remember.

This incompetent carpetbagger is trying to set himself up to some kind of recluse lifestyle - he's not going to have another term, it is not possible - falling back upon exploiting open channels of business and open media where ever he can.

The Sun will fix things.

There was another real estate tycoon who built not one, but two, highrises with enormous glass facades which would blind people as the sun reached height and also, literally produce enough reflective heat to cook an egg. One was in the UK, the other I think in Vegas.
How'd this fix-itself? Some multi-million dollar shade the entire length/width of the building. Literally a throw-away item because the developer's head was so far up their own ass the lump in their throat was their nose. Should be real simple to identify a group-photo...

Trump has a 10M personal loan from China due as of yesterday - but he cemented China in place within the US by way ofTrump Palace. Once they reached a functioning production capacity their steel was dumped upon his personal projects and at a now-significant cost to the US Industry. He's not 'tough on China' w/ all his bullshit rhetoric, the man is a hardline communist quisling in our midst. Sure it's funny to exploit the loopholes in the repeating crude english speaking skills but it's because he's soon after speaking in Mandarin to his Chinese counterparts, trying to bail his own self out of trouble. What'd he do not only seconds into this Term? Hit up the Chinese Territory of Taiwan and send an attaché from his own business empire there to scrape up deals. Took and Oath of Office and immediately broke standing-protocol.

tldr;

His 2nd Act will be some reclusive, Howard Hughes-esque mystique w/ only his pod-people family allowed into an inner-sanctum of Tax Evasion.

...until someone offers 'Book Deal'

Given that most states haven’t taken off (yet?) we can still achieve greatness.

#16 based on death rate despite our horrendous response thus far.

NYC/tri-state is what, 50%?, of US cases.
Locally the MA stats show cities with high density are where covid is flourishing.
It drops significantly as people spread out.
I imagine the state results will follow suit, it certainly is in VT, NH, ME

Also, Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska currently have the fastest growth rates in the country. Population density has the greatest potential for spread, freedumbs seem to set the effective spread.

So the Danish are either too dense or too dense. Denmark and Norway have almost the same population, comparable healthcare systems with excess capacity, enacted almost identical measures at the same time and their curves follow very similar trajectories. And yet the number of deaths in the much smaller country is significantly higher:

Sounds like Oslo is lifting some restrictions, and “normal” business is resuming next week for some shops.

Whitmer caves.

"We can now start the process of gradually resuming in-person work and activities that were temporarily suspended under my prior orders," Whitmer said in the document. "But in doing so, we must move with care, patience and vigilance, recognizing the grave harm that this virus continues to inflect on our state and how quickly our progress in suppressing it can be undone."
The order:
  • Allows certain businesses that had been closed, like plant nurseries and bicycle repair shops, to reopen, but under social distancing guidelines.
  • Permits some outdoor activities, including motorized boating and golf, to resume, though the use of golf carts still is prohibited.
  • Says businesses which had been restricted or closed because they were deemed to provide nonessential items to reopen, but only for curbside pickup or delivery. And it allows large retailers to reopen certain parts of their stores, like their garden centers or paint sections.
  • Allows employees of landscaping businesses, lawn care operations and pest control businesses to return to work, subject to social distancing rules and limits on sharing

I'd left that much out - he'll cut off his own head despite his neck. Another quack will - instead of proclaiming him a 'most fit evah' - will declare him incompetent and he'll be pushed along San Clemente beach, in a wheelchair, Nixon's stomping grounds...

...but you and he are both Floridians. Hollywood Beach, Key Biscayne, Haulover Naturalist as you know. Fingers crossed an 'Impossible Whopper' will still be just across the Street in Sunrise for him if he finds himself at their beachfront Trump Tower. Alot of outstanding brokers over there in Boca.

But like I'd said - book deal. He'll be wheeled into Court, not having spoken for years, a Trust Attorney will plead their case. It'll be declared a mistrial or unfit to stand trial.

In conference room post-trial an associate attorney will mention how this'd clear alot of cash should someone make this into a book. To which Donnie Darko bolts up -- 'how much??'

You lost me about three words in but I thoroughly enjoyed it anyway
