Lunch ride today, first ride in just over a week. Chronic fatigue still a daily thing, but it's especially noticeable when riding with 3 other fast friends. This year & this virus sucks goat balls. I have got to find some way to break through this and creep back.

Mayor McWheeze closed NYC schools for tomorrow. Kids can still hit the gym and go out for a cold one after though.

Haha America! We win with you in incompetent covid response. 2 days ago Poland was responsible for 30% of worldwide covid related deaths!!! 30% !!! Our population is 37 million!!!

We are also today #1 in New Covid cases #1 in new deaths. We beat Mexico by 130 people per day, Mexico has over twice our population. Only 7 countries have over 100 covid related deaths today. We have 637.

Also police is teargassing peaceful protesters after surrounding them and plain clothes policemen attack them. The protesters are mostly women, regular women protesting the near absolute abortion ban. 2 MP's were beaten and gassed. My life here is good and I'm safe but jesus my country is turning into a dumpster fire.

Sucks, stay safe. At least Morawiecki showed those Eurofascists in Brussels what's what, it's not like Poland could use those EU funds and recovery money.

Yeah. Why the hell would we want to support rule of law? Bad EU wants us to be lawful? Those barbarians, we thought them how to use forks and knives (real words of our foreign affairs minister about France...)

I really feel for you. I'm not even a big fan of a lot of EU policy and its general setup, but that unholy alliance of Fidesz and PIS is going to hurt everybody and most of all the people whose interests Orban and Morawiecki are supposed to represent. I do find the protests in Poland encouraging, at least from the outside it appears that a significant part of the population has had enough of reactionary policies.

It's good mainstream people have joined people who they previously viewed as fringe activists. I remember cooking food for women's the protests a few years ago with some office boys from Deloitte in an anarchist squat kitchen and that was a real eye-opener.

The bad part is people are resisting but there is literally no opposition force that can win elections vs PIS. There is a new guy who is this type of worker laws progressive catholic but he has few experts behind him and he constantly lies on key topic by saying "i don't know much about it but I'd happiliy have a discussion" which really means I don't like it gtfo and is still anti abortion and anti same sex marriage or even legal unions. Still he'd be better than PIS but onestly we are screwed. Our Left Wing party has some great leaders but they are more focused about losing with style than winning so they rotate all the party heads instead of only going to tv with 1 who is probably the greatest orator I have ever seen and his 1 public appearance basically turned them from 0.5% support to 5%. It's a shame since they are really no crazy fanatics but they communicate like shit. I've even was recruited to do some pro bono communication strategy for some Warsaw activists that had great specialists but they also don't know how to communicate and they believed cambridge analitica wins elections (they don't they do shit) and I could help them do the same without changing the rest of their marketing and pr.

You CO people are fucked (based on my highly reliable and scientific anecdotal experience while visiting the front range for work this week).

So many people in public places not social distancing, wearing masks incorrectly or not at all. Saw examples of stupid all the way across the front range hi from oil country to van-life country.

DIA was the worst. I actually skipped two trains bc people were literally standing shoulder to shoulder. FTS.

While waiting on line in security a TSA douche actually accosted us to stand closer together. "Don't worry about social distancing. You're gonna be on a plane soon anyway." I may or may not have gone full Karen on him.

For DIA there's the Verifly app that should hopefully alleviate some of this stupidity.

Saw that. Sadly, the roped off verify area was 100% empty as I waited for the two overfull trains to pass.

Is there not a walkway between the terminals? In IAH & ATL you can choose to walk instead of ride and both are are bigger than DEN...

No one knows about the app, seemingly.

One can walk from the main terminal to the A concourse but that's it. There's an extra TSA checkout on said walkway, from the upper level of the main terminal. No intra-A/B/C travel by foot. So good if you're on Southwest, I guess.
