Cracking and creakin and sh*t

took the red pill
My ribs. What's up with the cracking and creaking? Is this normal? Well first off, I had an accident on my bike, going downhill and the bars whaled into my ribs. Now my dad fell off an addition he was doing years back onto a saw horse and broke several ribs. Doc told him to go home, take asprin and rest. So I'm assuming I shouldn't even bother goin to the doctor based on the fact that my dad was bedbound for days. I'm in considerable pain, but with 800mg IBU every 4 hours or so It's tollerable. There is no bruising on the skin. Just pain and creaking and stuff, especially when I drive and turn the wheel. Should I even bother getting xrays, seems like a waste of time. This happened about 10 days ago or so. Oh and it probably diddn't help that I went riding Saturday. Now I'm hurting. When the hell is this gonna heal up?

i cracked a rib and just dealt with it. Worked with it on the roof too, sucked pretty bad. And when you ride it always seems like you land on it. haha.
if that's what you got should take around a month or so and you'll be right as rain depending on how many you cracked and any other muscles and stuff you might have torn. i never took no pills, and my pain started really tapering off after 3 weeks. After 5 weeks it was just a slight phantom pain.
But if you are in agony pain 10 days after you better have it checked out, nobody knows except you on your pain threshold.....

4 months ago i cracked my heel bone, doc said to stay off of it (ie: no bike riding for a couple months)

YEAH RIGHT!

but what does suck, is that every now and then i will stomp my foot fairly hard on the ground when trying to keep from going down when things get really hairy, or when bailing out of a jump and what do you know? it starts to hurt all over again.......

but to me it's a no-brainer. riding with the pain is much more comforting than the pain of not riding.

besides someday (hopefully) the pain will go away.
