Trying to install a DMR Ex-Type crankset with a 36T FSA Chainring and a Mr. Dirt Chainguide.

The Chainring is 104mm BCD, but it doesn't fit on the middle ring tabs on the crankset. Almost like the chainring is too small.

Any ideas? Last problem I need to solve before I finish my bike!

Kinda old, I know, but I know TruVativ and some others use a slightly larger ring seat for the middle ring than Shimano, FSA, etc. Dremmel/ file will take care of it right quick.

That was the problem and that was the solution.
Took it down to the jedi master at my LBS and spent a lot of time with a file.

All good now!
