Soo on my SS i currenty have a set of tripple ring Husselfelts - running one ring and a bash.

I'm pondering cutting off the studs for the granny. Any one done this? I'd like to get them out of the way for thoes times when I have to take the wheel off , as the chain gets stuck under them.

Any tips?

I have ground them off on my dh bike. This is very common since the granny mounts will hit just about any chainguide. The truvative single-ring dh cranks actually come withthe granny bosses cut off (before anodization of course).

Grind away. Just don't let it get too hot.

aite - I just picked up a grinder so I'll giver a go.
(I have a set of the single ring only truvativs on my other bike also)
