The wallride takes the place of the quarterpipe... That crap into the trees is gone... The step up/stepdown will be used but configured a little different. There will be a quarterpipe after you land the stepdown...The same drop in? Is the curved wallride in place of the quarter pipe transfer? Are they reusing the step up into the woods, hip, and jump out along with the other step up and final drop? You competing Joel?
Yep...wait john cowan is at winter park right now? i was just there two days ago
The course will be quite different this year... big dj's but also an option for the big bike guys to hit a drop line instead.Plans for huge DJs again? I will swing by and check it out on Sunday after Sol Vista. I am so excited to ride the track and compete! Slalom track started yet?
Yep...
Lower huh? Interesting. Thats cool there will be options this year. Time for some huck huck gnar gnar to go down. The course will be quite different this year... big dj's but also an option for the big bike guys to hit a drop line instead.
The first drop is 3'lower too.
It's still 17' so it's a big one still. There will also be an option to not roll the rock part and start below it from a platform.Lower huh? Interesting. Thats cool there will be options this year. Time for some huck huck gnar gnar to go down.
From what Cowan is saying, it looks like the course heads downhill quite a bit more this year. I sure hope so. All I have is a 7" bike that doesn't pedal so well. That was something! Hopefully that thing will be a bit more trickable this year. And hopefully no sprinting to get through the course.
Yeah, Bearclaw is coming this year... I'll post pics of the course once things start taking shape.anyone got the lowdown on this year ? i'm going for the first time. psyched.
