I went to the Easyrider motorcycle show today (a friend got the pictures, I will post them when he sends them).
Christian Dotson builds one of the craziest looking bikes. The engineering is cool, but it's extremely pointless.
Here's a shot of one of his bikes.
The front arm moves up and down on a leaf spring system. The steering is done through the shaft running through the headtube using u-joints. It pivots on the end of the arm.
Looking at it, I would think it would steer more like a car rather then using the countersteer normally used on a bike.
