Mr. Stein has an undergrad degree in economics, so you could argue that he's making statements about something should be knowledgeable about. And he's 100% wrong.

So, I guess that makes him eminently qualified to speak on the subject of evolutionary biology...he can't possibly be more wrong than he is in his own area of expertise.

So, because Barney Frank was wrong on the financial crisis (I don't know if we can pull up any of N8's old posts about how great the economy was, I've been quite bearish for a while now) that makes Ben Stein correct on creationism?

A little hint there, I wasn't linking to the video to point out how right Schiff was (although he really had it nailed, didn't he?) I linked to it to point out how stupendously wrong Ben Stein was. In an area he should have some knowledge in.

Second, have you seen expelled? Worse than wrong, stein has put his name on what he damn well knows is the most hollow, dishonest piece of shlt I can remember sitting through. And if for some reason (oooh, untapped market?) he does believe what he's claimed, he needs no further flogging on just how stupid he is. But hey if it helps shut him up and discredit him more, then by golly I'm all for it.


And yes, you should both draw pictures for each other. Poorly constructed vignets in microsoft paint are ALWAYS worth doing.

To be fair, I made my first comment prior to watching the video. I was in no way saying that because Stein is a creationist he is also wrong about everything. There is no reason behind his failure, it just is, Stein is the metaphorical "that guy".
