You mean you miss Christiania.... Me too, their effing right wing closed it down a few years ago. I think that was what that reporter really wanted to say instead of "for years Danes have had a tolerant and casual attitude /..../ to drinking their beloved beer". Damn that city was laidback like nothing I've ever been to.

actually, i never went to christiania...i'm not a pot smoker, and there really didn't seem to be much other reason for heading over there...my friends and i did walk over to where it started, but were getting followed by some creepy drug dealer type and we decided to leave.
Christiania had a really funky bike shop but the hippies were a bunch of money-grubbing dirtbags. I'll take one of Copenhagens 10 annual sunny days, a few trays of carlsbergs and a table surrounded by 6ft blondes, please.
Ohh, you guys need to relax your attitude against hippies. There is a reason indians put weed in their peace pipes and not tobacco. There were really nice people there, and a bunch of rough necks but they was on holy ground. There's no fighting on holy ground even the Curgan kept his cool there..
Haven't been there in two and a half years now but the last time we bought some Red Russian hashish that was really heavy indica and mixed it with Thai, and that was magic. It is one 6 o'clock morning I will pleasantly remember 'til the day I die from sun radiation.
