I want to buy another set of Lightbicycle road wheels for a build from China but not if it's going to cost me another 50% in Mango taxes.

Also looking a groupo that's a lot cheaper from Hong Kong too, is that classed as China in these making farmers poor again trade wars?

$800 is the limit if you are traveling and have the items in your possession.

import duties are usually a % of the claimed value depending on the category.

$800 was the figure I had in mind before the trade war BS started, but just not sure how I'll get bitten on purchases if they don't mark them down below that amount.

I'm not 100% of course, but I just bought some wheels from the you Kay, handlebars from grrmany, a stem from China, some adapters from Taiwan, cranks from Korea, and they were not hit with customs on delivery. Maybe it's coming, but I hope not.
