Let's see it Stik!
Bring back the 'Golden Era' of the open face/XC helmet, alas in-mold nowadays.

Nice one... I remember well the days when custom xc lids were common... much more personality than today.

This was my favorite:

media blackout
I can't even visualize that and don't even really know what it means, I just know that it is without a doubt, the best thing ever posted on ridemonkey.

I look forward to using it on a regular basis and visualizisng butt motorboating.
Would you say your anaconda does want some?

Sometimes to be asked for a race team doesn't have all the perks to go with it...

The Horror:
- drips in basecoat
- droops in lacquer
- overspray on trimmings, EPS liner, dual density liner
- painted over chin strap rivet, duct mesh
i.e. a cleared over vinyl bodge job!

Hilmit Doctor to The Rescue:
- strip the Daytona 3 altogether
- glass bead clean the duct meshings
- sand it clean to reveal the carbon base again

Cleaned the dual density liner.

Simple pearlwhite 'dirtjumper' style logos as per client instructions. #basecoat

Lacquered and good to go.

Details.

I'm not retired per-se...but it's not my full time job anymore. I still paint on the side, but haven't done mountain bike helmets in awhile. Here are a few..

I’ve got a Troy lee D2 and D3 to paint, where is everyone getting the pipping to redo the trim on it and has anyone replaced the D3 piping and put something similar to what is on the D2.

Thanks
