Customs Duty on Bike Frames, From Canada to US

I'm 99.9% sure as long as it's made in North Amurica, you're ok (because of NAFTA).

Last fall when I went to visit some family in Montreal, I had an eye on a Canfield Jedi in upstate Vermont. According to the Canadian Border Services Agency, I was going to pay full taxes regardless of where it was made.

For a US made frame, it would only be Canadian taxes

For a foreign made frame (like the Jedi), it would be Canadian taxes + 'duty' (which was some crazy number like 13%). So a total of 26% or something.

I have no idea what the US rules are. Just call them directly and see what they say.
