Hello,
I'm installing Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes on two of my bikes - should I leave the cable housing "uncut" or cut it and run a "naked" cable along the top tube? The weight difference really isn't a big deal IMO. It seems like leaving the cable housing uncut would help keep dirt out of the cable housing but cutting it would look better and probably fit better on each bike as now, these bikes are fitted to run brake cables "naked" across the top tubes.
Thanks,
OD
