Papa needs some new shades. My Nikes did their job more than enough and after two years have finally taken their last lick. I guess I need a hard case.

Anyway, what do you wear? I think Oakleys should come with a Camaro, so those are out.

Smith Diablo - for now. I don't really like them though. The lense doesn't seem to fit snuggly and air gets in at the bottom.

Thanks you two. I was looking for something, obviously w/ interchangeable lenses, where the frames completely surround the lenses. Smith's never fit my face right and always fog on me. Ideally, they wouldn't look too stupid to be worn off the bike also.

Don't mean to change the topic, but I will.

Same question, but what about us blind-as-a-bat folks?

Most folks use contacts, or lens inserts? I'd dig suggestions with lens clip-ins.

i've got 2 sets that i'm using now. i've got a pair of oakley M frames and a set of Smith Mainlines. i like the oakley's a lot for road riding b/c the lenses i have are a bit to dark at times for mtn biking. we are sponsored by smith so i get the hook up on those, i've always liked smith, they make a great product and have a lot of different styles of sliders to fit several different faces. i like the mainlines a lot, they fit my face pretty well and the extra lenses that come w/ them don't hurt to much either. i can only wear pair of glasses for X amount of time while mtn biking, espically when i'm racing. i get pretty warm for some odd reason while wearing glasses when i race during the late spring/summer months. i always end up throwing my glasses to whoever is doing my feed at races. had i of known you were lookin for a pair of glasses i could have sold ya a set of smith pivots that i got kinda lat from smith that i ended up giving to my sister b/c she liked em a lot.

Mine are lens insert compatible.

I use Smith Slider 01's. Lots of lenses, good fit, cool enough to wear off the bike.

As far as the prescription question - get Lasik. I swear it's the best thing I ever did, I can see better than I ever could with glasses or contacts, 20/15 in both eyes. It's awesome, to this day it brings a tear to my eyes when I look at the horizon and can pick out the smallest details :)

Oh and by the way if you're gonna ride on the road with them, I don't recommend polarized lenses, they seem to make it harder to see broken glass :monkey:

Again, thanks for the info. I've decided on Zeal Lazors. (I think that's the model). A friend of mine recommends them and he has prescription inserts. They seem to fit the bill as far as what I'm looking for and definately price-wise. check out their site @ www.zealoptics.com.

For the record, 'M' frames should be outlawed for their supreme ugly-ness IMHO.

They ARE ugly but they are the best also. So I take them off as soon as I am off the bike (clear lens looks alright)

I'm still waivering....I think I want the Zoonis by Zeal, but can't decide. I'll probably get them at a store (the horror) rather than online so I can try em on. Anyone use, have experience with Julbo? Never heard of them before, but REI carries them.
