Like it says, my carbon D3 was stolen and I am in need of a replacement. I get industry pricing so retail prices don't apply. However the D3 is the most expensive. Pretty much the only ones I'm interested in would be interested in a Fox Rampage carbon, the 100% Aircraft carbon, carbon D3. I loved my D3, but am willing to give something else a shot. I see the Rampage carbon has two different shell sizes, I've been trying to see a picture of both shell sizes next to each other because I'd rather not look like a bobble head. The XL D3 does a good jump of still looking slim and tight.

I went from a D3 to a 100%, now back to the TLD. I say definitely try on the 100% first ... on paper should have fit but really did not (BFH issues) and I wound up with another D3.

I've got BFH issues too. I wish I had a shop locally that I could try these on. Maybe ill just spend the extra money and get the D3 again

I have BFH issues and it fit me fine but yeah it's best to try on helmets before buying. Though I didn't but I also got a deal so good that if it didn't feel I could sell it and loose no cash (or even gain some).

FYI - On the 100% Aircraft they sell different thickness cheek pads to help with fit.

I think you've given at least 3 good reasons yourself why you should just get another D3.

I'll add my past technical analysis though:
Ticks all the boxes?
There's only one box to tick, and that's looking cool as hell. D3 for me.

I've got a D3 carbon, and I'm looking at the 100% for next helmet. It looks awesome, colors are spot on. Just need to try one on now.

I might go full bobblehead and get one of those 6D helmets. That design looks far better than most of the mips things. Just gotta see if I can get a mink lined one. Fake mink though, because those little guys are cute.
Those do look nice. The bobblehead factor would be particularly good for me, I'm 6', 155lbs and wear an XL D3.

I should have added:
I have a large head (60cm) but a relatively slim face (cheeks and jaw). Even though the Kabuto fit me well, over time the cheek pads got weaker and caused some movement. The D3 I have now has such tight cheekpads that it is almost uncomfortable to get it on or off. But when it's on the head the fit really is perfect. No movement at all.

The helmet is not necessarly constructed with a Leatt brace in mind but I reckon that it works better with the new style of braces like the Atlas or even the new, lower profile Leatt braces.

What I want to say is, if you have decent sized jaw and don't ride with and old style Leatt brace, the Kabuto could be the helmet for you. Imo beside the D3 still the best looking helmet out there.
And it comes in black.
