Anyone know if there are any significant changes for the 05 Dainese Safety Jacket?

I think I'm going to finally plunk down the $$ to get one now that I know the XL fits (just barely).

Buy whatever Dainese you can, whenever you can if that is what you want. Getting stuff from them sucks.

I've been riding/loving Dainese suits for 6 years and IMHO would say that there have been no significant changes in the level of safety that they proivide since thatey started making the stuff. Venting has gottne MUCH better, but the level of protection has stayed ~the same. The only real advance that I cna think of is the metal honeycomb that they put in the back piece, and those thumb loops are nice, but both have been around for a while now.

Everything I have tried from them (2 full suits, several shorts...) gets an A+, but their gloves get an F-. The gloves stretched/shredded in less than a season. I am now happily riding the Sidewinders that the Dainese gloves were meant to replace.
