I have a dakine Nomad and its pretty damn big.. the large compartment can hold about 3 text books, plus a bladder .. the smaller zippered one holds all your personals.. cell, keys, pens, wallet
and a velcro mesh pockey all your loose stuff (its actually meant to hold a full-face so its pretty big) i use it aeveryday for commuting to work

In the bathroom, fighting a battle
I used to have a DaKine pack in middle ans highschool, it lasted about 4 years so pretty good stuff IMO. But for the best back-pack out there go for a North Face. NF makes great packs and they have a full lifetime warrenty, that the honor, they are also really comfortable.

I too have a nomad. You should make a review in the Nomad section I made.

The backpack for school I have now, is a Spitfire Wheels (skateboard) backpack. I have had it about 5 or 6 years. My mom wants me to get a new one because it doesn't exactly look new. I'm still keeping it though! :D.

I'll check out the NF ones.
