Aww, I missed all of that by a couple weeks huh?

Maybe I'll try to get to the Smoky Mountains a little later in October next year. Nice pictures.

yep...according to my journal it has consistantly been the second week for higher elevations..the third week fo the 2000-400 foot elevations then the remainder of october for the low country stuff but it is all dependant on how soon it gets cold and how much rain we get during the summer. this year has been one of the better years of the last few.

hey biggins, just curious: what camera?
canon digi rebel xt. some of them were shot at about 8 this morning in the fog and drizzle which i prefer for very saturated colors. they were shot on a tripod using a timer and no filter with shutter speeds of anywhere from 1-2.5 seconds.
the sunny pics were shot with the same camera and same setup...except i stacked a circular polarizer filter on top of an ultraviolet filter to get the rediculous amounts of blue in the sky....i like dramatic blue....
most of them were shot on the 18-55 kit lens that you can get with camera. one or two were shot on a 75-300 tele-zoom.

How/where do you find the EXIF info?
To get the full EXIF, you need an EXIF reader... they're built into most standard image editors and viewers.

But Windows has a partial EXIF. Just right click on the file, click Properties and select the Details tab.

I liked Bod Ross's happy little trees, as well, but had no idea Kinkade was homosexual...or were you guys just trying to make editorial comments regarding his artistic merits in a heterosexual-esque fashion. Care to offer up your opinions on window treatments or comfortable shoes?

Bob Ross is on PBS on Saturday mornings. He so rocks. I keep thinking he is going to pull something out of his hair.

Now you to can paint like Bob Ross.......on your video game.

Bob Ross Incorporated and AGFRAG Entertainment Group announced today the formation of Bob Ross Interactive LLC, a joint venture devoted to the development and design of Bob Ross Video Games.

The first Bob Ross video game will be developed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii (formerly Revolution), utilizing its intuitive controls so that players can easily immerse themselves in the addictive game while having fun and learning to paint like Bob Ross.

AGFRAG’s Joseph Hatcher will represent Bob Ross Interactive LLC at the May 2006 E3 Show in Los Angeles.

Hatcher says this about the new joint venture and it’s commitment: “There are generations that know Bob Ross and his painting technique, and we want to share his legacy with future generations in a new medium. I believe that the success of this joint venture will come from Bob Ross Inc. and AGFRAG having similar beliefs in independence, creativity, and teaching. These attributes will benefit the game’s development and how players of all ages can enjoy this game. We cannot wait to put more happy trees in people's lives with the new Wii system by Nintendo."
