She is about to retire and just bought herself a new car. She called to see if I could find something on it. A convertable 98 Mercedes 500SL with 17k miles on it.

Here's what I found.
Note that my mother is the most conservative driver on earth.

315hp/350lb/ft torque
Automatically extending rollbars
0-60 in 5.8 seconds
15mpg city 23hwy

Sounds like a prett sweet automobile my mom now owns. Guess I'm going to have to swing by her house and drool on it a litte.

Same way here. My mom's got a 2003 BMW 330ci 5-speed.

Oh god its so much fun

0-60 in under 5.5 I think
5.9, she'd have to upgrade to the \\M version to get under 5.5. Or some aftermarket parts.

Sweet car, that sounds like the W140 body model i think. big cars but i love em. she should have fun depending on if she can find the gas pedal or not. if she doesn't, there still comfortable as hell.

My stepmom has one, it's just too bad she's beat the living hell out it. Nice cars though and plenty of fun to drive.
