Here. Yard and housework today. Need to go to MIL1's house to install a new door lock and go through the investments.

Woke up and decided to grab the hardtail and ride the local rail trail. Twas great to get our and just mindlessly pedal for a couple of hours.

Might go to the river with the dogs, perhaps the town beach, who knows what's on tap for the rest of the day.

Short tech ride completed, beer in hand now.

The trails here are so good. I donated to the local club yesterday and met the dude in the forest today. Bonus free beer tickets.

Also found someone's bug tent, returned it to the parking lot.

I convinced myself to go ride the mtb. Getting back in shape is hard after 3 weeks on vacation. I was slow on the trail from the first pedal stroke but just enjoyed being out there. Ran out of batteri on the shifter pod. I had seen before I went on vacation it was low but forgotten about until I was already on the trail. You can still shift with a button on the shifter so no problem getting home or being stuck in a gear and I had a good excuse not to do an extra bonus loop. Got home had some food and took an nap.

Got up early, cut the grass on my dad's garden, went grocery shopping because I'm taking care of him for a week at his house, not so much taking care of him but rather make him company and make sure he doesn't get out or leave the stove on.

I am pleased to report that I still have legs, and we definitely got another picture from the spot that has the view that you can only get one place in the entire world.
