oh man i almost posted a very similar thread tonight as well. i saw the beginning 15 min of his hbo special and it sucked. i don't get why people are so obsessed with him. it seems that he has a cult of high school and college kids anywhere you go.sucks. It seems all the new comedy acts are lame. Ron White was real funny too but now he bought a fancy suit and grew his hair long i guess he turned as well.

hedberg is actually just as good on cd as he is on tv. it's better when you listen to him when tired/stoned/drunk.
I don't like Dane Cook. It seems that he's sort of a new-age George Carlin, but not funny.
some dane cook is funny, but i've heard every one of those hedberg jokes before, not funny. Of course, to each his own. comedy is a really personal thing and depends on your personality and experiences.
dane cook is a fad.
are there humor needs not currently being served by David Cross?
never compare dane cook to george carlin ever. they just do not compare. george carlin is actually funny.

I caught a live Dane show and I pissed myself all the way through it. The HBO thing didnt do much for me. Off day I guess.
