Damn. For steel?

I hope they've been testing for 2 years like thay say, because that sounds a tad on the light side for an 8.5" ride.

I think I'm in

There are now so many long travel dreamy bike's....
Demo 8 & 9, Sunday, 303, and now this...
I sooo wish I could go to interbike so I could ride a few :nopity:

Hmm, WB seems normal, BB slightly high, 17.5" effective stays (wonder if that is with or w/o sag since they look like they grow). Wish they used the standard DH shock size instead (9.5x3.0").

i'm not a big fan of that type of swingarm but i like the rocky mt. rmx and i guess that dark bike looks pretty sweet with a shiver on it!

While I agree that the lower the leverage ration, the better. 8.75 x 2.75 is pretty easy to come by.

Damn, you are frame geometry obsessed aren't you? Is there treatment for that? ;) :D
Ha! Well, this frame sure isn't. Too long in the back and too high in the middle for my tastes and riding environment.

What can I say...I'm particular! And I really want a low, fast cornering bike with relatively short chainstays (17.5" or so at max, pref. sub-17) . Canfield F1 seems like the best match for me lately...or one of those used DHRs that's floating around...

9.5x3.0" is the new DH shock size standard - at least that is what I was told and saw as a trend at Interbike last year and since then...

Hopefully nobobdy corporate at mountain cycles cares about the linkage being an exact copy of the 9.5's link........ but it's a great overall design nonetheless. I'd definitely ride one.

One writes in small parts because ones pc might just cut-out any moment, so Its less to lose, If one writes a bit, sends, then writes a bit more, sends etc...

One hopes to be as superior as you one day...

Ok this is the last thing I am going to say because this thread doesn’t need all this crap in.
Have a look at this and read it all
http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/search.php?searchid=119400

All you have put on this site is pointless, now I am not going to tell you what to do but you will get a bit more respected if you start putting something useful in a thread.

There is nothing wrong with a bit of humour but you don’t seam to be using any.

And that’s is I am never going to say any more about you.

Beyond the jaka$$.

It's a sweet frame, I was about to order one but the stays are a bit longer than what i'm looking for. It shares a lot with my balfa. I'm not really racing so I'm not sure i need all that stability.

Dang!
I like that thing a lot.

Very much like somthing I was working on a couple years ago. Of course, they made it and made it better. I love that "scissors linkage", as I like to call it.
The new swingarm is delicious aswell.
Well done, Dark!

As I said, I believe each one is one off, customer specs...but the stays on the truss rear triangle might be hard to take in, but I would talk to the ower/welder dude if I were you....

My balfa has some long stays and i love the bike, it's super stable. It's just that for freeriding I'd like something a bit more manual friendly. I'll have to give the guy a shout again and see what's up.
