So this guy fires a gun, twice through a wall at his wife, killing her. And when the police showed up he was like "Uh, I was trying to install a satellite with this here gun" and they actually bought it? :rofl:

Do you know of any literature about flying a chopper over a fire? I feel that would be an interesting read.
Over a fire you are likely getting heat-updrafts mostly, quite different than DA. A big problem with helos is always ring-vortex, when they hover in their own downwash. That’s brought down many-a-helicopter, plus those half helicopters-airplane things.
