In the realm of culinary delight, where flavors entwine,
There resides a creation, divine and oh so fine,
A masterpiece of edible art, a symphony for the tongue,
Behold, the mighty taco, where passion and spice are flung.

From humble beginnings, a tortilla's embrace,
It cradles the treasures, each filling in its own space,
A vessel of satisfaction, a portable feast,
Tacos, the embodiment of culinary release.

First, the tortilla, warm and golden-hued,
A canvas for the flavors, a vessel imbued,
With corn or flour, a choice for the wise,
Crafting a foundation, where indulgence lies.

Enter the meats, tender and succulent,
Marinated in spices, their flavors augment,
Be it grilled carne asada, or slow-cooked barbacoa,
Each bite a revelation, a taste that will show ya.

The sizzle of the skillet, the aroma so divine,
As the proteins dance, flavors intertwine,
Shredded chicken or juicy carnitas, take your pick,
With every mouthful, taste buds in a state of sheer bliss.

And then come the toppings, a vibrant array,
Fresh salsa verde or pico de gallo, they hold sway,
Crisp lettuce and tomatoes, a burst of freshness,
Radishes and cilantro, a touch of zestfulness.

But let's not forget the cheese, oh glorious cheese,
Melting and oozing, a decadent tease,
Queso fresco or cheddar, a dairy lover's dream,
A final touch of richness, completing the theme.

Perhaps a dollop of guacamole, so creamy and lush,
Adding a coolness, a verdant, buttery hush,
Or a drizzle of hot sauce, for those who seek heat,
Igniting taste buds, making every bite a fiery feat.

Tacos, oh tacos, you are more than just a meal,
You transcend boundaries, hearts you can steal,
From street vendors to gourmet restaurants divine,
You unite cultures and palates, a taste so sublime.

So let us raise our tacos, with joy and with pride,
In celebration of this dish, a culinary guide,
To flavors untamed, to an experience so grand,
Tacos, forever cherished, by all food lovers in the land.

yea, I think I can, at least for the morning. I might be on the trail bike this time, I haven't tuned up the DH bike.
We'd likely only be morning as it's too busy through the holiday to put the DSO in daycare - she's not allowed in gen pop.

I have no idea where I am
I'm guessing Alvin. He's still here too....cat returned, climbed in sofa and chased it around while I tried to guide them toward the door. He retreated back to the couch. Damnit!
Okay, here’s how to get the little fucker out of your house. First put the cat in another room and close the door. Start a trail of peanuts or some kind of seed from the exit door to the couch. Like one nut/seed every 8-12”. Then leave a pile right outside the door for him to stuff his cheeks. Next leave for a while. Hunger will take care of the rest. You might say I have some experience in dealing with Chipmunks.

I made her d/l the NOAA app to learn how to use the Doppler. I was waiting for this to happen.
Won't the data be behind, by the time you see it on an app?

I'd be more concerned looking out the window (ok maybe a door, window aint the best spot), if that watch turning into a warning.

NOAAs app is accurate to 5min and it's a 'live' Doppler. That changes it from the Weather Channel's 'Tornado Watch' then crickets to 'Tornado Watch and this is where the storm is actually located'.
