can confirm. I had to put the roof rack on the car this morning and damn near froze my fingers off. Thursday is forest school day, and with the snow/slush on the road, I prefer the roof rack to the hitch rack (I drive the boys to the forest, then drive back to town, park the car at my wife's work, then ride to my work...) I don't use the roof rack much, and all sorts of nuts and bolts were loose and needed extra attention. three hours later and I can still feel the ice crystals inside my fingers stabbing at my flesh.Hello! Can confirm, fall never arrived and we have gone straight from summer into arctic ball freezing cold weather.
Sounds like last night. It took us an hour to do 7km. Apparently biking through 2 inches of fresh powder and having a flat rear tire takes A LOT of effort. Who knew?can confirm. highs were in the low 20s down low (between 3 and 4000m). Above 4000m it was between 5° - 10°C. Not too shabby. Actually, it was darn near perfect weather. How warm was it down south?
That sounds much better than my spending the last 2 hours replacing toilet internals.Rode 36 miles, 4200ft vert. I think that covers my imminent calorie intake.
