We were in VT this weekend and wandered into a ski/bike shop just to see what was on sale.....

my cousin started looking at sidi road shoes - Genius 5s. $189.99 retail (I'm thinking they were 2005s, but who cares, right?). They were marked 30% off of that.

So she tries them on and is hemming and hawing that it's still a lot of money. The salesman says "well, for 50% off, you can't go wrong."

That's right, she walked out of there paying $90 for Sidis.

Of course, they didn't have MY SIZE :redhot: (that's a 39.5 if you know of any good deals - and I only need MTB shoes)

They were selling new Sidi's for 70 bucks no tax at a Bike Swap here in Seattle a few years back. They had my size and when i decided to finally fork over the cash of course they were gone.... Oh well.
