I'm pretty sure you can get dropouts for the v10 that are regular QR.
I'd think it would be pretty easy to make a 135mm hub into a 150mm hub with a longer axle and some rigged spacers. Aren't mavic axles 10mm x 1.0? Same as shimano.

that year V10 the QR version came with a 135mm hub I believe.911 said:

Converting a 135mm hub to 150mm would be pretty ghetto with lots of spacers for your brakes and a sh*tty chainline, but it could be done...

Yup. If you compare the dropouts on the older V10s between the QR and TA versions the QR ones come in some where as the TA ones are flush with the frame it seems like.Acadian said:

The first batch of V-10 had the option of 150mm Thru Axle, 140mm w/Floating Brake, or 135 mm QR Dropouts. But the new one... I think it only comes with 150 mm.
My M3 has 135 mm dropout with QR hubs. Very convience, but the chainline is not as good as 150.
