I was in Les Gets over the summer, and a shop was selling mavic 36 hole rims stickered up as DeeMax. Not sure wat rims they actually were, i think they were 823's, but you couldnt tell the difference, apart from the eylets, as they are different from the actual deemax.
I cant find anywhere that sells these rims, does anyone know where to get them.
The reason I want them, is I wanted a proper set of dee max for my giant dh comp, but as the wheel spacing is only 135*12, the deemax hubs wont fit(they only come in 150*12,as far as I know,for 12mm bolt thru). So ever since I saw the rims alone in france Ive wanted a set. Cant get hold of the shop in france either.
Anyone know anything, let me know.

No, I dont want to paint a set of rims. The guy in the shop said they get them off mavic, but Ive looked on the website, they dont sell them.
Im in need of a new set of rims anyway, so no point in painting mine.
Anyone else?

CRC sells them, but they are not cheap.

Not sure about the newer versions, but on the older ones, there was NOTHING special about the Deemax rims besides the color, which was a $10 upcharge at the time.

hey if you want rims go on pinkbike, look up mavic 36 spoke rim...im selling one lol...but im from Can.

Yellow rims are horrid.

If I am correct, the Deemax 32 hole rims should be exactly the same as 823 rims.

Just more expensive.
