I've said it before and I'll say it again. KORE ELITE PLATFORM PEDALS.
Another thread asked for big platforms: Kore Elite.
Another was on strong spindles/bearings: Kore Elite
Another on good for grip: Kore Elite
And now for concave: Kore Elite
Check out the Syncros MENTAL pedal, i ordered a pair and they grip like hell! not too concave but still awsome! check out the link http://www.syncros.com/pedals.htm
u dont think that needs some beef to it? looks like if it got wacked in a rock garden theyd bend or crack. not bashing syncros, i just wouldnt buy those for w/e they cost.
They are stainless steal and weigh 800 grams. Normal pedals weigh 500-600 grams. Do a little research before you make decisions or give advice. There is a review on NSMB.
So far the Soljam Vipers are available for a good price in Europe.
They look solid, aren't too heavy, have a nice amount of concave and pins...but that 3M sandpaper thing isn't gonna last long in the wetty wet.
A friend of mine has the Primo Odyssey JC's for more than a year and they still work perfectly, same story for the Azonic A-frames, they are not extremely concaved but they seem to grip as good or better then my (broken) Aircorp.
So it's going to be one of those 3.
I couldn't find (or afford) any Synchros, Kore, Xpedo, Axiom, NYC or BMW's pedals. In Europe there are a lot of different 'brands' but the American new-school, HC or small boutique brands are almost impossible to find for a decent price.
I had a pair of the FUNN SolJam Vipers, they were great, they had a nice grip to them (especially with the 3M grip tape) unfortunately they only lasted me like 4 months before they blew out! They were sealed too!
