Be sure to use fresh oil - or at least strain it good first. Last time we fried a turkey it was almost finished when we noticed a little deep fried crispy mouse floating around in the pot with the bird. Man it was nasty.
Of course we ate the turkey anyway. It's just that good. We just didn't tell the women folk until it was all gone and many beers were consumed.
Deep fry is the only way to do a turkey. We have deep fryer and it cooks a turkey so fast and it is so juicy. BTW that orange turkey looks awesome!
Try anothet recipe only with chicken. Take a whole chicken, stick the ass end on a bear can, in that beer you can put some spices that you would like and grill the chicken.
