You almost can't screw up food in a deep fryer.
I made a bunch of stuff for our Polish Christmas Eve supper in it. It was the first time I had ever used it and man is it easy!

Anybody have any good deep fryer recipes?

*healthy'ness disclaimer*
Please do not assume I will be deep frying all my meals, I just want to know if anybody has done anything really interesting with deep frying.

During college I learned many things about deep frying, I will now pass that knowledge on.

Bologna dissolves in a deep fryer.

Unbreaded cheese dissolves in a deep fryer.

Beers blow up in deep fryers.

Deep fry bacon, then everything else deep fried tastes like bacon.

Deep frying a friends sweatshirt although funny, is quite messy.

Under no circumstances should you ever deep fry while naked.

I believe my great grandparents were straight outta Poland.....so, I've already got Polish in me.

Well my grandparents always had Herring. YUCK! I hate fish so mine is always modified with lots of shell fish and crustations. You are supposed to serve 7 different types of fish.

I was thinking Lobster would be fun next year.

pssst....crustaceans and shellfish aren't fish...

lobster's fun all the time. except when you have to clean up. dealing w/ hot smelly water kinda sucks.

at our last bbq/ride we deep fried fish and then....we dunked some cheddar smokies into the beer batter then deep fried em.
yummy.
actually at that point everything was battered.......even the fork.
We even had a token Brit to sample our techniques.
we passed.

1. $5 worth of Oreos
2. $8 worth of oil
3. $6 worth of York Peppermint patties
4. $4 worth of 3 Musketeers

You probably have eggs, flour, salt, baking powder and milk.

I don't have any idea about "deep fryer machines." But however bizarre the above sounds, it works out awesomely well.
