I am trying to locate a company that makes a longer spindle for the bmx type bottom bracket. The spindle is too short to work in a 100mm shell and Deity doese not make one. I tried a profile. the length will work, but the diameter is not a true 19mm it is actually 3/4". and the bearings and the crank arms wont fit. any one make a 7" 48 tooth 19mm spinle? I could use some help on this one!!

I have a 170mmx19mm 48t spindle. It's slightly warped from heat treat. It's a FSA spindle.
Are you sure you can't find a Profile in 6 7/8" x 19mm? When I was looking for a longer one (finally ended up having one made and heat treated), Profile plainly listed one on their site.

No, have a profile right in my hand.it is actuall 3/4 not 19mm. it is .05 too large for the bearing diameter and the crank arms. probably going to go to a machine shop and have them shave it down and see if the splines still work. going to give fsa a call first, got word that theirs measures a true 19mm

Actually, FSA's is exactly a 19mm. I based the custom I had made from the measurements off of the FSA's spindle. Hehehe, my custom was 209.55mm, one BIG mutha!
