SO, I ordered an inspiron 6000 online wednesday, with a killer $450 discount coupon. Well, we got an e-mail yesterday that it would not be shipped until the 9th of Feb...Rachel needs this machine by the 27th. I know Dell's business model, we just don't have enough time. SOO...is there anyone 'in the know' that might be able to find a loaded 6000 kicking around, ready to ship? Any help is appereciated. There is typically something in the particular system that causes delayed shipping. If you can identify it and remove it, you can get it shipped faster. In the configuration page it will say, "This item may cause delayed shipping" or something like that.
