wondering if someone can give their opinions on this.
I'm about 190lb. Own a medium Demo9 which came with a 400lb spring on a 4way SPV. Quickly swapped it out to 450 but I really feel like 500 would be better. I'm not bottoming it out but it just seems to saggy and wallowing in it's travel for my liking. I've mucked around with air but it doesn't really change these characteristics.
Anyone else experience this? Should I just stick with the 450 with these SPV shocks and get used to it.
BTW...Specialized recommends 450 for my weight.
thanks

same stuff with me, i am 200 lbs, got a 450, it was way way to soft, using a 550 now and it rides so much better, still running 30 percent sag, but it doesnt have that saggy thing going. go for a 500 or 550.

currently steel but the new one will be Ti from Go-ride. Evidently Ti springs are available now so will put the Demo9 on a bit of a diet :thumb:

I probably don't need to tell you this but get your spring weight where you want it on a steel spring BEFORE you drop the cash on a titanium one.

;)
:stupid: buy a few steel springs you think will be good to make sure when you go to buy the Ti you dont make a $200 non-refundable mistake
