One of my local trails is having a Bicycle Demo Day this Saturday. Are these worth checking out. They advertise test riding a $7000 bike. They're going to have road and MTBs there. I thought it might be cool to check out, but I was curious about others experineces at these things.

Kind of depends on who's putting it on. Cannondale had a big demo day truck thing in my area last fall... I didn't make it, but I know some people who went - said it was very cool.

I would bet that if it was put on by a reputable manufacturer or a good LBS then it's definitely worth checking out. Otherwise it's probably iffy.

This is what I've heard, Litespeed, Quantano Roo, Tomac and Merlin bicycles. I think the guy told me Dreambike tour is putting it on.

What the heck, might as well go check it out. I've been to a Trek one, and Gary Fisher one in the past.
