Whoa!

How did I ever miss this thread?

IMO, belief in GOD, in the traditional sense would be a belief in something beyond the capabilities of the human mind to explain or fully understand or put into physical terms by way of science, since omnipotence is beyond physicallity, just like the human soul, right?
I dont buy into religion, but I dont normally discount the possibility of existence of a GOD simply because so much is unexplained and unexplainable (unexplicable?) that it would be only be nothing more than a random guess for me to assume that there's not one. Such a thing would only be motivated by personal feelings rather than by facts since their is no proof either way.

Well if you think something is real and you really- really believe it... it can become real to you.... however, this doesn't necessarily make real to anyone else.

You know, I can understand if someone doesn't believe in God, or thinks that the church/religion (whichever one you choose) is wrong/evil/sucks or whatever. I can appreciate a heated discussion about it... But Changleen, you like to bash religion and religious followers every chance you get. What purpose does replying with "Yeah, that actually has already happened, about 2000 years ago." serve other than saying, "Nyah nyah nyah" or just flaming people?

Discussing the existance of God or the issues one has with religions and such is one thing. Poking fun at people like a 4th grader is something else.
