That's just messed up. I'd be surprised if this had anything to do with Darrent as the only news he's made here in the past two years was football. In all interviews, he seemed like a nice kid. Very sad.
In addition to losing a nice guy, it makes Denver look bad. I know, sounds selfish, but we're a good city with relatively low crime. And when a crime happens, the cops do a good job of investigating.

No seriously, J. Walker got into a fight with him earlier that night. He IS under investigation. Rex may have killed him with an errant throw all the way from Chicago though. He does have a hell of an arm.
