I'm gonna be in Denver tomorrow, sun 17th-wed, was wondering if any resorts in driving distance are still open, and if anyone could suggest a place to get a decent rental. If anybody wants to meet up and is shuttling or something, i can gladly chip in on gas$ too B) I heard there was ice/snow at a couple places recently and lifts are closed, that true?

I wouldn't be surprised if the lifts were closed. I'm in Vail this weekend and it's lightly snowing. mmmmm powder!

i have a race on the 8th of october up at beaver creek resort so that probably is still open now for bikes. i'd try to get the website up and see.
