So having lived in CO and UT for the past oh 8 years, I'm used to heading to the desert for spring weekends of riding and just enjoying the sunshine (usually Moab).
Is there an equivalent in SoCal? Any cool places where I can ride, my wife and I can camp (away from crowds), and hopefully there are some good hiking trails as well? Looking at heading somewhere this weekend March 4-5. Maybe something out near Joshua Tree NP? We are in Fresno so anything within about a 4 hour drive is reasonable. Help much appreciated...
