OK, drive train skipping horribly, I finally got a new cassette. One hitch: my buddy Jeff borrowed my chain whip about a week ago and hasn't managed to return it yet.

Solution? A 36" Stilson wrench works just fine. Anything smaller won't grasp a 34 tooth sprocket.

Who else has a butcher mechanic story or two?

How about butcher locksmith?

I have used a pipe and a large rock to open two of my cars.

I use channel locks some times. I used a vice to hold the cassette last week. I used a 5mm wrench at Wumpus' house on Saturday that might as well been a screwdriver.

Oh and I used a hammer to unlock the truck door twice.
