My Swinger 6-way just blew on my 05 Devinci Ollie. Awesome. Looking for a new shock so I can ride while that one is being serviced (I'll probably sell it when it comes back anyway). The shock is 9.5 eye to eye and the spring says it is 400x3.0 but I'm not sure if the stroke length on the shock is 3.0 or 3.25. Obviously the spring says its 3.0 but the actual stroke length seems to measure 3.25 to the end of the shock. Does that matter? What difference will a quarter inch of stroke length make on the bike (if any)?

Also, I was thinking of a Roco World Cup or DHX 5.0 - any thoughts?

Shock size is 9.5" x 3.0". No suck thing as a 9.5" x 3.0". Fox labels their springs designed for 9.5" x 3.0" shock as 3.25" since that is where they'll start to bind.

I have a ROCO World Cup on my Devinci Wilson and love it. Both a ROCO and DHX will require new reducers from Devinci.

I just ordered a Roco from a shop. I was under the impression that the bushings from my 6-way would be transferred over to the Roco without a problem. I'll see what happens when I get the shock.

I see what you're talking about - the bushings from the 6-way are a different diameter than the ROCO. I wonder if a shop will have these bushings instead of me having to call Devinci and wait.
