Anyone have any thoughts about which brand/model has the better reputation: Kona Dew Plus vs. Rocky Mountain Metropolis? I'm 42 y/o, 5' 11", 175# and am looking for a high-quality commuter/hybrid bike. I'm torn between these two for a variety of reasons. I like both rides/perfromance/comfort. Price-points are pretty similar (though the Metro is slightly more).
Both shops make it sound like thier bike is the obvious choice and anything else is a compromise. How do I cut through the sales pitch/marketing??
