I am working at a ranch this summer near Creede Co, and I wanted to know if any one knew of any dh and FR type trails in the area. I am also willing to drive to get to some trails. I am also looking for people to ride with. I know summer is still far away but some helpful replies would be great!

There's definately stuff at Silverton, but their lifts are only open 3 weeks a year, and I believe there is some shuttable stuff, though never been riding there....... Sorry, not much help, but that might give you a start......

Grand Junction has a DH trail built by the locals out there. Its pretty cool, all rocks and berms, no wooden features. Its right near town you can shuttle it, but you'll have to hike up the last 300 feet or so.

And that's 300 *vertical* feet. Don't expect to walk 300 feet and be at the trailhead.
