I'm not sure about this year but footloose sports rents a few big bikes. I want to say santa cruz and specialized but check their website and give them a call. There's also the mountain which has giant and I think kona bikes. This is all off of rough memory from last summer so double check me on this.
If you come through tahoe I rent a norco shore and a turner DHR for $60 a day and you have to buy the bike if you scratch it.

Last 2 years @ the mountain they had crap..I think schwinn actually...get a rental in town..
Oh yeah schwinn's everywhere. I do remember that. I thought there were giants too. Maybe I'm just confusing other mountains. When are you going?
