So, you lucky monkeys who got the dh girlie mix, what'd you think? Even if you PM'd him already, I'm interested to hear other opinions.

I'll post something a little more detailed later, but the gist of it is that I really like it. It's got some fluff, some really excellent tracks, some mediocre tracks, and one or two, Band Playing At Open Mic Night While Customers Look For Things to Jab Into Their Ears tracks (Evil Kineval, for one).

Overall, they're three CDs that earned a permanent place in the CD holder on the driver's side sun visor. That's an important spot, as all my high use CDs go in there. It's not really a mix I'd lie in bed at night and listen to, but it's an excellent piece of music to stick on rotation in my car, especially for long road trips.

The saving grace is that whenever there was a song that I found disagreeable, hitting "Next" immediately brought up something good (in that case, I Am a Warrior floated out of the speakers to appease my anger ).

Incidentally, narlus, the first CD doesn't match up with the track listing. I've got an extra track in there... After intermission 1, if I remember correctly.

i was having w/ getting some of the intros working ok on their own as individual tracks, w/o getting stutters or echoes at the tail end. maybe it was due to the fact that most were very short (~5 seconds or less), but even at the slowest burn speed it still happened ocassionally. i was sick of making coasters, so i used cooledit to splice the intro into the next song, and make it one track. that maybe what's happened to yr copy. and the tracklisting i pasted may not have been the most recent rev (my hard drive on my work machine crapped out, so i lost some stuff).

You know...I did not have ONE margarita in the 8.5 days I was there...at the airport, I had some Budweisers...then I started on the Mexican beers...tecate, pacifico, corona, dos XX lager...of course had some tequila...lots of tequila...and when I drank from the pineapple, the coconut and the canteloup...it was stoli and pineapple juice...not one margartia...go figure...

Oh I got del dia de las muertes dude on Isla de las Mujeres...(that is the day of the dead dude on the island of the women for y'all that don't speak espanol). Those things are COOL...got myself a punker like that, a mariachi guy and a vampire!
